Hi Peeps!
My name is Oluwasegun Peter Omotosho, and I am a seasoned Network Engineer with over 5 years of experience building, managing and automating networks in West Africa.
I have always had the knack for computer networking. Looking back now, from 2018, when I was first introduced to the world of BGP and all, I picked up an interest so quickly that I could not stop thinking about the field, even when I returned to school to complete my bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Over the years, I have been privileged to learn a lot from people who have mastered the art of connecting networks, and I believe I have a lot to share with the world from my own view of the computer networking industry from this side of the world: the problems, the solutions, my ideas on how to make it better and, ultimately, to leave pages of my thoughts out for any budding engineer who is also coming up.
I am also starting my journey to CCIE Service Provider, and I intend to journal that journey here. You should expect me to write about the highs, the lows, the wins and hopefully very few drawbacks I experience whilst preparing for what has been dubbed the holy grail of networking, the CCIE.
Ultimately, you will find here:
- SP design topics
- Enterprise design walkthroughs
- Automation
- Real production lessons
I will also share what I title Reflections as I navigate my life and career.
I promise everything here will be handwritten by me, from real work and real experiences.
You can reach out to me via LinkedIn or email, especially my fellow ping engineers in West Africa and beyond.
